LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

Thank you all for your attention. I am glad to introduce myself.

Well , I am durgadevi  from ariyapadaiyur.  I completed my Bsc -computer science  from Govt college for women(Auto)  at kumbakonam with an aggregate of 79%. I have completed my +2 from government higher secondary school with an aggregate of 76% and also i have done my schooling from same school.Then right now I  am  pursuing MCA from Govt arts and science college at kumbakonam.

We  are the family of four, am the younger one, my father is working in a revathi cabs, my mother is  a  home maker, I have an elder sister and she is currently worked.

Comming to personal skills,

My strengths are i can work hard achieve my goals. i am  a self confident person having positive attitude and patience.

My hobbies are making crafts, drawing, reading books and watching news.

I did my project on “Content Based Image Retrieval” for Java language. It is a multimedia project based on image processing.

My achievements.....

I completed senior grade  typewriting with distinction in  both tamil & english  ... and  passed  COA (computer application on automation) govt exam with first class... and  also distinction in DCA(diploma in computer science).... and even i had crossed/ completed 4 levels of hindi language exam.i have learned Karnatic music period of two year’s and also one time participated in musical program.

My ambition is to see myself in a good position as early as possible. My role model is professor suganthi madam ,because of her  effiective use of time and the way communicate with others.

What is SharePoint,

SharePoint is a platform to support collaboration and content management system. It is a

central web-based portal. Using SharePoint, you can manage your colleague’s and your own

documents, social activities, data, and information.

                                                                                      

·         It allows groups to set up a centralized, password-protected space for document 

sharing                     

·         Documents can be stored, downloaded and edited, then uploaded for continued sharing.

·         SharePoint offers such a wide array of features that it is very challenging for any one person to be an expert across all the workloads.

SharePoint - App Model

we will be covering the SharePoint deployment App models. Since, SharePoint is moving towards the cloud, the following deployment models are available to use Apps for SharePoint −

• SharePoint-hosted

• Autohosted

SharePoint - Features & Elements

we will take a look at features and elements. Features are in some ways the component model in SharePoint. They allow you to define logical units of functionality.

For example, you might want to have the ability within a site −

• To create a list with a specific schema,
• Have a page that will show the data from that list, and then
• Have a link or a menu option somewhere within the site to navigate to that page.

You could create a feature, which defines that logical grouping of functionality. The individual pieces of functionality are defined by elements.
